The Womens Institute Centenary Scarecrows at Court Farm, summer 2015

The WI was welcomed to Court Farm - we received around 30 of the 80 scarecrows created for the outdoor exhibition at Lullingstone Castle, to commemorate 100 years of the Womens Institute. The scarecrows were dressed in period costumed and labelled with each West Kent branch's name and location. We displayed them with the backdrop of Andrew's first sunflower crop and the magnificant North Downs Way's chalk cliffs. 100s of amateur and professional photographers showed up during the 8 weeks so we ran a competition on our Facebook page.
