FARMA was delighted to be a Supporter of 'A Garden Party to make a Difference' in London, part of the national 'Start' initiative launched by the Prince of Wales to celebrate and promote sustainable living.

The 12 day Festival, which ran from the 8 until the 19 September in the Royal gardens near Buckingham Palace, was open to the public and aimed to promote and inspire sustainable practices.

In the food area FARMA hosted a farmers' market of stallholders from certified farmers' markets, selling local, artisan produce and crafts. It was a great  opportunity to promote direct sales and local food, giving FARMA a platform alongside the big name brands such as Waitrose and M&S.

The event is now over for this year, but discussions are underway to see if something similar could happen next year - watch this space!
