Kantar Worldpanel has launched an iPhone application for its grocery figures.

It is the company’s first app and provides the latest grocery share figures at the touch of a button.

It is free to download via the Apple iTunes Store.

Users can also use the app to obtain data for the last three years, a useful tool when tracking the historical performance of a retailer.

Edward Garner, who was a speaker at the FARM & MORE Conference in January 2010 and is communications director at Kantar Worldpanel, said: “We’re excited to launch our app as it will enable businesses and media to access the latest intelligence on the UK’s major grocery retailers 24 hours a day.”

The latest grocery share figures will be available on Kantar Worldpanel’s iPhone app from this week.
