Organisations involved with traditional retail markets met with Government Departments on Tuesday, 1 December. FARMA represented farmers' markets.

The Group's work will initially concentrate on identifying best practice and also on skills and training. It will meet three times a year.

Picture shows representatives of market organisations and Government Departments with Rosie Winterton MP, Minister for Local Government (standing, centre) who spent nearly an hour discussing the status of markets with the Working Group.
