Food & Fairness Inquiry: Have your say in the future of food and farming PDF Print E-mail

The Food Ethics Council has commissioned an Inquiry to understand what a fair future for food and farming could mean in practice.

The Inquiry wants your opinions to help them decide whether the government, businesses and the public are doing enough to make sure food is produced and distributed fairly. It will then use theĀ findings to make recommendations.

The Inquiry focuses on three aspects of fairness: Fair Shares (access to healthy food and work environment); Fair Play (access to market, land and resources) and Fair Say (do farmers and producers have enough influence over food and farming?)

The Inquiry Committee is made up of leading industry figures, including the NFU, the Food and Drink Federation, Sustain and the Fairtrade Foundation.
