We aim to produce great tasting British produce whilst farming sensitively and responsibly. Our special rare breed Longhorn cattle and grass fed Charolais X lambs are sold exclusively in the Farm Shop. They are slaughtered nearby at Long Compton Abattoir, along with our locally sourced Gloucester Old Spot pigs and the meat is then butchered on site by our skilled team of butchers. Our commercial herd of Aberdeen Angus x cattle are supplied directly to a top end multiple.
We have been growing asparagus on the farm for over 20 years, and it is now a very important part of the business with 50 acres dedicated to its cultivation. Incidentally, we are known locally as “The Asparagus Farm”!
In recent years we have also added a small market garden producing fresh Fruit and Vegetables for the shop. We also sell a wide range of artisan cheeses, home made pies, cakes and ready meals and local beers and ciders.
Our open hours are 8.30 - 17.30 Monday to Saturday and 10.00 - 13.00 on a Sunday
