The Farm and Butchery
With Brian running a 190 acre beef farm, the family has been farming in the area for three generations, since 1938, and the butchery is an important part of the Farm Shop and offers beef from the farm itself, ensuring traceability at a time when this has become increasingly important. In fact, most of their meat is home grown or comes from close friends and neighbours. The award-winning butchers are well trained and able to offer advice on meat cuts and how best to cook them, making sure nothing gets wasted.
The Coffee Shop and Deli
Monthly recipes, charity events and themed evenings (think Italian or French) are just some of the ways they put their own stamp on the Farm Shop, and all are very successful.
With a deli now offering delicious takeaways and a large award winning coffee shop with a varied menu ranging from snacks to full three course meals, every hungry tum is catered for, and when the weather is good there is a large outside area for dining and a playground for children. There is also free Wi-Fi available, allowing you to catch up on your emails whilst you settle down for a renowned and incredibly tasty cooked breakfast!
