We have understood that many enter the deli and farm shop market with a great deal of enthusiasm and passion and some sound ideas, but often without experience or knowledge of the sector. There are also many passionate food producers with excellent ideas but without the commercial experience to take their products to market and build sustainable businesses. There are those that are doing well and would like to do better, those that are not doing so well and need guidance and simply some who work hard, have little time to step back and require sound independent experience from time to time.
