Red bank farm was bought by the Watkinson family in 2000, as a derelict working farm formally run by the young offenders prison service. Since then the family has worked hard to build, improve and manage the farm well. As cattle and pig rearing increased ourselves and family always had a well stocked freezer of meaty goodies. And when demand from family and friends for our pork chops and steaks increased farmers daughter Nicola decided to take up butchery and offer our produce to the locals via farm gates sales. Once a month we put a sign on the road the farm 'Homereared meat on sale today' and the response was amazing. In December 2009 we opened red bank farm shop with only the meat, some locals spuds and homemade pickles on offer, since then the business has grown into a well established farm shop for our local community with emphasis on good customer service and top quality produce direct from the farm itself.
Family run farm producing beef, pork and lamb for sale in our on site Butchery and farmshop, we also sell seasonal local produce, freshly baked bread and much more. We specialise in 28 day dry aged beef hung and butchered on site. Opened in 2009 we have gained many loyal customers in the local area. Open Wednesday - Sunday 10am - 5pm
