Certification from FARMA
Haverfordwest Farmers Market is held weekly on Fridays from 0900hrs to 1400hrs.
The market started in July 1999, being the second to open in Wales and the first to receive Certification from FARMA, which assures customers that the market has local farmers, growers and food and drink businesses selling their own produce directly to the customer. Haverfordwest Farmers Market is regularly quoted in the media as one of the top ten farmers markets in the UK and has won 3 FARMA Regional Winner awards since 2005, was runner up in the FARMA rural farmers market of the year in 2009 and is also a True Taste retail Gold winner. Special events are held during the year to celebrate Easter, Harvest Fayre and Christmas; along with Spring Planting and BBQ markets to promote and highlight the diverse range of produce at the market and how it can be used.
