Battlefield 1403 is a visitor attraction based around a farm shop, butchery, delicatessen and cafe. Visitors to the Battlefield site can also enjoy the Battle of Shrewsbury exhibition, follow the battlefield walk and visit the historic St Mary Magdaleine church. The site also boasts a falconry centre housing over 60 species of birds of prey.

Our shop provides an outlet for a range of excellent foods which are sourced locally. They have low food miles, full traceability and great taste. The beef and lamb is reared here on the farm, and when there is a gap in supply it is sourced from local farmers who rear meat that is as similar as possible to our own. In Sparrow's Cafe meals, snacks and cakes are freshly prepared to order in our kitchen using ingredients from the shop and other local sources. Morning, lunch and afternoon menus give a variety of choice. There is also a children's menu, again made in our kitchen using local ingredients.
