Now in its fifth year,
The Farm Shop & Deli Show 2015, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, from 20 to 22 April, will include a NEW product sourcing area for visitors.
With numbers of exhibitors up over 100% and a significant rise in pre-visitor registrations compared to 2014, it’s set to be the ‘must visit’ show for anyone working within the speciality food and drink industry.
For the FIRST time the show will host a product sourcing area specially dedicated towards cheese and charcuterie, the Cheese & Charcuterie Counters. They will give speciality food retailers from farm shops, delicatessens and cheesemongers the ability to discover new and exciting products from these sectors.
Companies exhibiting in this area will include Angel Refrigeration Ltd; Cornish Cheese Co. Ltd; Woodalls Charcuterie; Interprofession Du Gruyere; and the Suffolk Salami Co.
At the Farm Shop & Deli Live theatre, an exciting and comprehensive programme of demonstrations, live debates and tastings will be hosted that include:
Monday 20 April, the Live theatre will host a range of masterclasses from Juliet Harbutt, cheese expert and chair of the British Cheese Awards, on topics that include cheese selections and charcuterie. Tuesday 21 April will see the Live theatre come alive with talks from industry experts that include: Dr Morgaine Gaye, a leading food futurologist, talking about the future of food; Giles Henshel, co founder & ceo of Olives Et Al, talking about turning customer wrongs into rights; Paul Hargreeves, founder & managing director at Cotswold Fayre, will discuss business growth and smart thinking; and Richard Fox, chef and broadcaster, will join award-winning environmentalist Tristram Stuart, to discuss innovative waste-cutting ideas.
