The Hollow Trees Farm mission is to create unique opportunities that allow access to agriculture for all, through fantastic food, fun and adventure, education and employment. The 140 acre farm produces and sells on site vegetables, meat, eggs, plants, flowers, hay and straw. The original roadside cart has, over 28 years, grown into a farm shop, butchery, delicatessen, farm trail and an all year round programme of education and entertainment.

The judges were particularly impressed with the way in which Sally and Robert have tight controls of all aspects of their business and how motivated all the staff were. To visit the farm trail with its very well cared for animals makes a real connection between farm and food.

Michael Mack of Savills, the managing agent for FARMA, comments:“The FARMA awards are a fantastic way to reward our members for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. The awards are presented at the end of an educational and inspiring three day members conference and trade show, which is a wonderful way to celebrate their passion to promote food grown and sold by the same hands.”
