"The 2018 FARMA Conference promises to be the highlight event of the year. Inspirational speakers, fascinating case studies, a great range of trade show exhibitors and networking events make this an event not to be missed.

The public's interest in food provenance and buying local continues to grow. Our businesses are evolving to meet the changing demands of today's shopper's and leisure visitors. The agenda for the conference and trade show is filled with amazing case studies and insightful speakers which should not only challenge but provide valuable ideas to help your business succeed.

As well as the presentations in the main conference room, after lunch there will be a separate workshops stream aimed at farm shop managers, and one covering topics of interest to Farmers' Markets.

Every year attendees like the value of the networking time; this year we've enhanced the networking opportunities with a fun informal buffet dinner on Sunday evening, the promise of an earlier return time from the coach tours and a night of celebration on Monday evening.

Sunday 25 February

5pm - 7pm FARMA Registration desk opens in hotel foyer

7pm Networking Dinner

The coaches will depart at 7pm for the award winning Pink Pig who are hosting the first night evening meal, a buffet of delicious local produce. An opportunity to relax, renew old acquaintances and meet new members. Return Coach transfer from the hotel is included.

Monday 26 February

Farm Retail Tours

Four tours will head off after an early breakfast to visit exciting farm retail businesses. The coaches will each have dedicated facilitators who will ensure all attendees have an informative day on the road. Click here to see the full itineraries

7pm FARMA Celebration Night

Enjoy a welcome drink in the trade show area followed by delicious three course banquet with entertainment.

Trade Show & Competitions

Exhibitors in the Trade Show are each dedicated to the farm retail sector to provide you with the contacts and support you need in the challenges ahead. 

The AHDB Butchery Competition: The fourth year of the competition will see entrants from across the UK compete to be crowned the best on-farm butcher of the year. Rules agreed with AHDB. Eight pre-booked spaces available, if you would like to enter contact the FARMA office.

Merchandising Inspiration Competition - win a Spa break: Bring a photo of a retail merchandising display which has inspired you. It can be one from your business or one you have seen elsewhere. Pin it up on the display wall. One entry per conference delegate/exhibitor. Get inspired by the photos and choose your favourite. The photo with the most votes will win an overnight spa break with Q Hotels.

Tickets purchased on the website www.farma.org.uk do not carry a booking charge. All tickets booked directly with the FARMA office will be subject to a £5 fee per ticket. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions as provided on the ticketing website.

Please book your tickets as soon as possible. After 9 February FARMA will be increasing the price of all tickets by 15%.
